The premise of Digital-Carpenter.com is to allow for a showcase of my portfolio and resume.
The website is currently down for yearly maintenance, it will be back online shortly.

About Me:

I have been a carpenter since I was a kid. I remember building my first wood project in my Uncle
Bob's garage when I was in 5th grade. He helped me build a pine snow sled with wooden runners.
From then on I was hooked. Professionally I have worked as a finish carpenter for a total of four
years and as a custom cabinet maker for two years. I have designed and built some amazing
cabinet systems for some amazing homes in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have also done remodeling work
with my Dad, friends and for a custom builder in Cincinnati.

I have done a little of everything: electrical, plumbing, concrete, framing, trim, cabinets, and lighting.

I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. Drawing and painting, taking my first photo-
graphs with my Mom's camera when I was in 4th grade. I earned an Associate of Applied Business
from the University of Cincinnati with a focus on Commercial Art in 1997. In May of 2006 I was asked
by a local gallery mogul, in Cincinnati, to come on staff with his gallery to help  redesign it. I did and
eventually performed all of the construction management and most of the renovations.
I served on the
gallery board as Co-Director until March of 2008. I continue to serve with an advisory roll with the gallery.

I have designed multiple websites for friends as well as companies I have worked for. While many view
web design/development as a potentially lucrative career I see it as a means to help friends succeed in
their businesses and passions. So please, no requests for me to design or build a site.
